WHY DIALOG?

IB students often do not need more generic homework help. They need someone who understands the way international school assessments are designed and how IB examiners reward thinking, structure and evidence. Dialog Education focuses on helping students understand what each subject is asking for, how to organise their answers and how to revise with a realistic plan.
Our lessons are designed for Hong Kong international school students. This means the tutoring can connect directly with school topics, internal deadlines, mock exams and final exam preparation. Parents choose Dialog because the support is structured: students do not simply sit through explanations; they learn how to apply concepts, review mistakes and build better academic habits.
We also use internal resources, monthly feedback and AI-assisted learning support where appropriate. This helps students organise revision, identify repeated weaknesses and receive more consistent guidance between lessons. AI is used carefuly as a learning support tool, not as a shortcut or replacement for teacher judgement.

What We Offer?
IB English Support
IB English students often struggle because they know the text but do not know how to turn observations into high-quality analysis. Our IB English lessons focus on assessment criteria, close reading, argument structure and clear written expression. Students learn how to analyse unseen texts, compare literary works, build stronger thesis statements and organise Paper 1 and Paper 2 responses.
For Individual Oral preparation, lessons can help students connect extracts to global issues, select useful quotations and practise a controlled, confident speaking structure. We also support students who need help turning vague ideas into precise analysis using literary and non-literary techniques.
IB Maths Support
IB Maths tutoring should not only be about repeating formulae. Students need to understand why a method works, how to recognise question types and how to show working clearly under exam pressure. Dialog can support students with algebra, functions, calculus, statistics, probability and problem-solving depending on their course level.
Lessons combine concept review, guided examples and exam-style practice. Students are encouraged to explain their method, spot common traps and build a revision routine that targets weak topics rather than simply doing random questions.
IB Chemistry, Biology & Physics
Support
IB Science students must handle both content and application. In Chemistry, this may include calculations, bonding, energetics, equilibrium, organic chemistry and data analysis. In Biology, students often need help with terminology, processes, diagrams, data-based questions and longer written answers. In Physics, many students need clearer support with concepts, formula selection, units and unfamiliar problem-solving.
Our science lessons focus on making concepts clear first, then moving into exam-style questions. Students learn how to read command terms,
structure explanations and avoid losing marks because of incomplete reasoning.
TOK, Extended Essay And IA Support
Many IB students need academic guidance beyond normal subject tutoring. For TOK, students often need help understanding knowledge questions, examples, claims, counterclaims and clear argument structure. For Extended Essay, students need support with research direction,
planning, academic structure and maintaining a realistic writing timeline.
For Internal Assessment work, support should respect school and IB academic honesty rules. Dialog can help students understand assessment criteria, improve organisation, plan research, clarify explanations and develop stronger academic thinking without replacing the student's own
work.
